Melbourne Recital Centre is proud to create opportunities for the technicians and event managers of the future to train and work in our state-of-the-art facility. 

Tech Track

Partnering with The Push, Melbourne Recital Centre is excited to be hosting the 2025 FReeZA Summit. Welcoming 200 young people from around the state that are on the Tech Track, this program provides an interactive day of event planning, marketing workshops, songwriting sessions and sound and lighting training. 

Regional Tech Secondments 

Welcoming technicians from regional Performing Arts Centres across the state, this 2-day paid secondment program provides professional development across new systems, equipment and processes, promoting shared knowledge and skills between metro Melbourne and regional Victoria. 

Internships

Providing practical workplace experience, Melbourne Recital Centre has partnered with the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music for over 10 years to host 4th year students through a joint internship program. Participants have the opportunity to work across all departments of the organisation, gaining valuable industry insight.
