Soprano Ayşe Göknur Shanal, pianist Tuncay Yıldız and the Fidelio Ensemble under the leadership of violinist Işın Çakmakçıoğlu, will pay a moving tribute, blending historical reverence with captivating music.
On this significant occasion, the performers honour Atatürk’s death anniversary and Armistice Day, weaving together powerful folk songs and poignant melodies. Experience the stirring rhythms of Çalın Davulları and Maya Dağdan Kalkan Kazlar, alongside the evocative Yemenimde Hare Var. The evening culminates with the evocative strains of And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda, offering a reflective and immersive musical journey. This concert promises to be a memorable homage to history, rich in cultural heritage and musical excellence.
