With an eclectic career spanning three decades, O’Rourke has produced for iconic artists such as Sonic Youth, Beth Orton, Stereolab, Joanna Newsom, John Fahey, and the Grammy Award-winning album, ‘A Ghost is Born’ by Wilco. He has also been a member of Gastr Del Sol, Fenn O’Berg, Loose Fur, and Sonic Youth, scored films for renowned director Werner Herzog, and served as a musical consultant for the 2003 film, The School of Rock.

In this masterclass, O’Rourke will delve into his lifelong passion for electronic and experimental music. Demonstrated by his extensive catalogue on his Steamroom imprint, O’Rourke’s approach to electronics is both personal and profound.
