Immersive Sonic Journeys

Immersive Sonic Journeys

Presented by Melbourne Recital Centre, SIAL Sound Studios and the Design and Sonic Practice Research Group, RMIT University

Details

Ready your ears and take the scenic route through a sonic journey of spatial sound compositions enlivening the foyers and stairwells of Melbourne Recital Centre.

Follow the spiral pathways echoing with artistry, where acoustic resonance meets urban tranquillity.

In a collaboration with RMIT University, we invite you to experience Immersive Sound Journeys—an adventurous leap into spatial audio.

Think: the rich acoustics you know and love, spilling into foyers and stairwells, transforming every corner into a canvas for sound. Featuring commissioned works and cutting-edge technology, this is your chance to explore the spaces between our spaces.

Wander, listen, and let the sound guide you. Who said stairwells were just for stairs?
