Genevieve Lacey & Marshall McGuire – Wishing Songs
Presented by Melbourne Recital Centre
Details
Experience the ‘inquisitive creativity and brilliant artistry of two extraordinary musicians.’ – The Age
ARIA award-winning duo Genevieve Lacey and Marshall McGuire return to Melbourne Recital Centre for a program of songs and works they describe as ‘near and dear’ to their hearts.
Works from 17th-century England sit alongside more contemporary compositions from their acclaimed, award-winning album Bower, in a performance that celebrates the unique talents of composers from across Australia and around the world.
With their spellbinding expertise on recorder and harp (respectively), Genevieve and Marshall perform music from across the centuries to audiences in the Primrose Potter Salon.
