Immerse yourself in the intricate melodies and rich harmonies of Charles Maimarosia, a remarkable musician hailing from the Solomon Islands. Raised in the remote Pipisu village of Malaita, Maimarosia is renowned as a singer of important custom knowledge while also drawing inspiration from both traditional and contemporary musical styles. Having recently performed in Honiara as part of the Australian High Commission/Wantok Musik Concerts, Maimarosia was the recipient of the MAV Diaspora Award at the Music Victoria Ceremony this year.
