Stephan Moccio – Live in Australia
Presented by Music in the Sky
Details
In Australia for the first time – Grammy and Academy Award-nominated composer, pianist, producer, arranger, and recording artist Stephan Moccio.
Stephan Moccio is one of the most compelling writers in music today. He possesses a rare power to express incredibly complex and nuanced emotions through melody alone. In recent years, the classically trained pianist, composer, producer, and arranger has shown his melodic ingenuity in such iconic hits as Miley Cyrus’s seven-times-platinum ‘Wrecking Ball’ garnered three Grammy nominations, and received an Oscar nod for co-writing The Weeknd’s seven-times-platinum ‘Earned It‘—all while establishing himself as a highly esteemed recording artist.
About the concert
Stephan Moccio’s first solo piano performance in Australia will see him performing original neoclassical music from his acclaimed albums Tales of Solace and Lionheart, plus hit songs he has penned for superstars like Celine Dion, Dua Lipa, and Avril Lavigne.
Stephen has affirmed himself as a truly singular force who’s redefining the possibilities of piano music, adding an entirely new urgency to the time-honoured genre of neoclassical music.
CDs purchased through CD-Ticket Bundle will be personally signed by Stephan Moccio.
