A musical for little people about big feelings.

Join Reddy, who is on a mission to help Yella identify her feelings. What is making her fists clench and her knees jiggle? With the help of a special Pause button, their young audience and a slightly grumpy Magic Box, Reddy and Yella discover that feelings surprise you in so many ways.

Sprouts Creative combines music and theatre with emotional wellbeing so kids learn life-changing skills while having fun. The partnership of co-founders Bridget a’Beckett and Sharni Page showcase their expertise in wellbeing, music, theatre and community development.

About the performance

This interactive performance in Primrose Potter Salon explores feelings in the most imaginative way! Press Pause will delight and entertain kids, giving them a theatre experience in which they have a starring role.

Press Pause engages children in movement and activities that encourage exploration, conversation and learning. It’s an opportunity for kids to explore their feelings – how to identify, name and understand them through musical yoga, crafts, song, dance and a sprinkling of magic.

Free Foyer Fun at Music Play!

Be captivated by the magical world of musical flora at The Plants, pop on some headphones and dance along as DJ Guru Dudu leads a roaming Silent Disco through the foyer, and channel your inner maestro as you conduct a chamber ensemble of four musicians. You can also get your face painted with your favourite design and have your photo taken at our Music Play photo booth! Hosted by the brilliant Madame Lark and Bevil Long.
