Inventi Ensemble are a leading force in Australian chamber music. About the performance
Their performance in Primrose Potter Salon as part of Music Play 2023 invites audiences to step into an enchanted forest of creatures, trees, rivers and storms, of bugs, fairies, dances and fauns.
In this interactive kids’ show, audience members will meet the musical instruments, hear the tales of the enchanted forest and draw an artwork to match the musical storytelling. Featuring a new arrangement of Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony and Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun alongside a world premiere of a new Australian work by Melody Eötvös.
Experience one of the most iconic orchestral works of all time. Feel the storms, thunder and lush forests of Beethoven and the picturesque imagery that Debussy conjures in this outstanding performance.
