Ears Wide Open: Dvorák Symphony No.5
Presented by Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
Details
Conducted by Chloé van Soeterstède and presented by Nicholas Bochner, this evening will explore the delights of one of Dvořák’s hidden gems.
Dvořák’s Fifth Symphony represents something of a turning point in his symphonic output, moving from overt Wagnerian influence to a more pastoral and folk-influenced style.
