The University of Melbourne is proud to present their first Wind Symphony performance for 2023.
This concert features a diverse range of repertoire that explores the wide variety of styles and colours available in the modern wind band. Major works are Danceries (Set 1) by UK composer Kenneth Hesketh and Year of the Dragon by UK Composer Philip Sparke.
Pieces by US composers Jack Stamp and Shelley Hanson along with Australian composer Ralph Hultgren and Japanese composer Yukiko Nishimura are also on the program.
