ANAM Encounters: Impressions
Presented by Melbourne Recital Centre & ANAM
Details
Celebrating the next generation of outstanding stars.
The intensity of training for musicians at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) has been likened to ‘a musical boot camp that lasts an entire year.’ But rarely are boot camps full of such joy, self-discovery, and artistic aspirations. The ANAM Encounters series in Primrose Potter Salon showcases outstanding performers from the class of 2022 and connects them with audiences as they embark on their professional careers as leading creative artists.
The Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) is dedicated to training the most exceptional young musicians from Australia and New Zealand. Each year, ANAM musicians fly between the stage and the studio; performing in over 180 events and receiving hundreds of hours of training, coaching and mentoring from an esteemed Faculty and impressive list of guest artists.
With an outstanding track record of success, ANAM alumni work in orchestras and chamber ensembles around the world, perform as soloists, contribute to educating the next generation of musicians, and are the recipients of many major national and international awards. ANAM’s aim is to inspire these future music leaders and to encourage audiences to share that experience.
