Details

Witness one of today’s most exciting and sought-after violinists.

Daniel Lozakovich is renowned for possessing ‘perfect mastery’ (Le Figaro) of his instrument. Born in Stockholm in 2001, he began playing the violin at age seven and made his solo debut two years later with the Moscow Virtuosi. Signed by Deutsche Grammophon at just 15, Lozakovich has quickly established himself as a luminary in the field with a career that has seen him perform with prestigious orchestras worldwide, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic, and Royal Danish Orchestra.

In his debut performance at Melbourne Recital Centre, witness Lozakovich bring his remarkable skill to three of Bach’s most celebrated works. Featuring Violin Partita No.2 in D minor, BWV 1004, its powerful final movement is considered one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. From intricate passages to moments of deep reflection, Lozakovich highlights Bach’s genius through impeccable technique and compelling intensity.
